Meet Adele. She was rescued from the Del Rio kill shelter in partnership with A Pet's Wish. She came to us too pregnant to spay, so a couple of days later we were blessed with seven beautiful puppies, which are also ready for pre-adopt. Adele is a young black and white female Shih Tzu. Housebroken, usually doesn't bark, kennel and crate trained. She can be left at home while her owners go to work all day. She is gentle and likes people, especially men. She will chase cats but could probably be put in a household with cats. She gets along with other dogs. She will stay off the furniture if you give her a covered place to hang out (like under the bed or in a cozy crate). She should adjust quickly to her new home. Adele will make a great addition to a household. Adele's adoption fee will be $200, which will include spay, microchip, distemper/parvo shots, rabies and bordatello. Adele is Heartworm negative and on a monthly preventative. She will be ready for adoption on 7/15./13, we are taking applications on her now. Other Pictures of Adele (click to see larger version):
