Hi there, I'm Lexie. I've been around the block a few times, but don't let my age fool you - I've still got plenty of pep in my step! My heart may need a little help from medicine, but it's full of love to give.

I'm sweet and friendly, always ready for a gentle cuddle or a playful romp. My curiosity keeps me exploring and my goofiness will keep you laughing. I'm brave and mellow, a loyal companion who's just as content to sit by your side as I am to embark on an adventure.

I'm independent, but I love company.  I spent the majority of my life in a sanctuary with 40 other dogs.  I was transferred to A Doggie 4 You when my mom died.  I'm smart, but I never take myself too seriously. In short, I'm a lot of dog packed into one furry package.

So why should you adopt me? Because I promise to fill your life with laughter, love, and a loyal friend who will always be by your side, through thick and thin.

To adopt this dog, please fill out an application at www.adoggie4you.org.  She was born around 07/19/2012 and weighs 15.2  pounds.   Her adoption fee is $150. 

This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.
